ROBEL made two important steps in its pursuit of responsibly leading the company into the future: at the beginning of December 2018, the corporate environmental management system has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.
At the same time, ROBEL was awarded the „Silver Level Recognition“ at the rating of its corporate social responsibility (CSR). This places ROBEL among the top 21% performers in specialized machinery production evaluated by EcoVadis.
For Andreas Schirmer, Head of ROBEL Management Systems, environmental consciousness is daily business: „ Our focus is not compliance with the norm, but continuous improvement of all corporate processes. We want to be proactive in our operational environmental impact and economical in our use of resources and energy. This goes from production of the machines to their environmentally friendly application on track.“
