Why and how did ROBEL implement DIN EN 15954 with ROLLY?
ROLLY is is a not self-driven machine which is towed on rail wheels. When used on construction or service tracks the machine has to comply with DIN EN 15954.
Referring to DIN EN 15954 - Which version of ROLLY Transporting device can be used on company and construction tracks?
The ROLLY version 5 with a wheelbase of 1,435 mm is designed referring to DIN EN 15954. The device meets the requirements for the approval by the respective infrastructure manager for operating and construction tracks.
All other ROLLY variants are exclusively constructed for use on private tracks such as company premises or tracks provided by private operators.
